Tunisian
Mathematical Society
A well-established and traditional society serving the mathematical community.
The current board of the Tunisian Mathematical Society (TMS), serving the term from April 2023 to March 2026, would like to express its sincere gratitude to all members for their continuous and valuable support. Warm thanks are also extended to all former boards for their excellent work in support of the Society and the broader mathematical community. The TMS is a non-profit association, officially recognized by its creation announcement published in the Journal Officiel de la République Tunisienne (JORT) on March 6, 1992. It is classified as a scientific association. The Society is governed by an executive committee composed of nine elected members: a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary General, a Treasurer, and five additional members with designated roles: Deputy Secretary General, Deputy Treasurer, Member for External Relations, Member for University Relations, and Member for Information. The TMS brings together university faculty, doctoral candidates, and early-career researchers focused on mathematics and its interactions with various scientific and technical disciplines.

TMS Newsletter
The TMS has been publishing monthly newsletters since September 2003. From 2003 to 2016, the newsletters were distributed in print format. Starting in 2017, to make them more easily and quickly accessible to the mathematical community, the newsletter transitioned to a digital format.
The newsletter provides an overview of all mathematical activities taking place in Tunisia each month, including conferences, seminars, and guest lectures held in research laboratories. It is also published on the Society’s website. Annual volumes compiling all newsletters from the year are available online.
Anyone interested may register on the Society’s website to receive the newsletter. All individuals listed in the TMS directory automatically receive the newsletter each month.
