CSMT 2026: Poster, Announcement and Online Registration
The SMT office is pleased to announce the official launch of the poster and the first announcement for its 29th annual conference (CSMT 2026), which will take place at the Sentido Bellevue Park Hotel in Sousse, from Thursday, April 16, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM, to Sunday, April 19, 2026, after lunch. This major scientific event for the mathematical community will bring together researchers, teachers, and mathematics enthusiasts for high-level discussions, lectures, and research. New Trends in Nonlocal and Nonhomogeneous PDEs In Honor of Prof. Patrizia Pucci Monastir, 24-27 April 2026.
The rapid progress in homogeneous partial differential equations (PDEs) stems from their effectiveness in modeling diverse phenomena in applied sciences. However, classical models fall short for certain nonhomogeneous materials, such as electrorheological fluids. This limitation has spurred interest in PDEs within Orlicz-Sobolev and Musielak-Sobolev spaces, which are now well studied. More recently, fractional extensions of these spaces and their related PDEs have emerged, though many challenges remain. This session aims to gather leading experts to share recent results anddiscuss future directions in nonlocal and nonhomogeneous. Post‑Quantum Cryptography Summer School, 6–7 July 2026, Hammamet, Tunisia
We are pleased to announce the Post‑Quantum Cryptography Summer School, an affiliated event taking place 6–7 July 2026, just before AfricaCrypt 2026. The summer school will be held in Hammamet, at the same hotel hosting the conference, making it easy for participants to attend both events. This two‑day program is designed to introduce participants to the foundations and current directions of post‑quantum cryptography, a rapidly evolving field preparing cryptography for the quantum era. The sessions will cover four major families of quantum‑resistant primitives: Symmetric Cryptography Introduction to Lattice‑Based Cryptography Introduction to Code‑Based Cryptography Introduction to Isogeny‑Based Cryptography The detailed schedule and the list of lecturers will be announced soon. Mathematical Statistics and Data Science Colloquium JSMDS2025 Hammamet November 13 – 15, 2025
This colloquium is the 4th edition of these biannual meetings, which aim to present and exchange recent results in mathematical statistics and its applications in data science. JSMDS2025 will take place this year in Hammamet from November 13 to 15, 2025. Particular attention is paid to discussions with doctoral students, postdocs, and young researchers. In addition to plenary lectures and short presentations, a poster session, and a certified training course entitled "Applications of AI for Predictive Maintenance" are scheduled for JSMDS2025.

African Seminar on Symbolic Dynamics (SymDaf 2025) Sfax, November 3rd-7th 2025
This seminar aims to bring together African mathematicians working in the field of symbolic dynamics. The seminar will regroup mainly the three small research groups from Algeria, Tunisia and Burkina Faso. Other African researchers working in this field are welcome to join. This is a follow on activity of the Algerian-Tunisian Meeting on Symbolic Dynamics. https://ratds22.sciencesconf.org/ The SYM-DAF Wandering seminar is an iniative of the SYM-DAF project. The registration fee is 90 euros. PhD students and postdoctoral researchers may request financial support from the organizers and, in particular, may be exempted from the registration fee. 11th International Conference (PICOF 2025) Inverse Problems, Control and Shape Optimization Hammamet ,October 28th-30th 2025
The PICOF conference (Inverse Problems, Control, and Shape Optimization) is an international scientific event that brings together researchers working on the theoretical and numerical aspects of control, inverse problems, and shape optimization. Its objective is to create a space for exchange between applied mathematicians, engineers, and specialists in optimization and modeling, in order to discuss recent advances and future challenges in these fields. The PICOF 2025 program will include: • 7 plenary lectures delivered by international experts • 14 minisymposia, organized by specialized researchers • A poster session, providing an opportunity to present recent results • Discussions and collaborations focused on current challenges. The PICOF 2025 edition is organized by the Laboratory of Mathematical and Numerical Modeling in Engineering Sciences (LAMSIN) and will be held in person at Mahéri hotel, Hammamet, from 28-30 October 2025.

8th Tunisian-JapaneseConference (TJC8) Geometric and harmonicAnalysis and Applications, Hammamet ,October 27th-30th 2025
The Tunisian-Japanese Conference series is designed to promote research collaboration between mathematicians working in Lie groups, harmonic analysis, geometric analysis, and related fields. Each edition provides a platform for researchers to present their latest findings, exchange ideas, and develop new research directions. The topics covered in these conferences include: ▪ Unitary representations of Lie groups and their applications. ▪ Harmonic analysis on homogeneous spaces and symmetric structures. ▪ Branching problems and symmetry breaking operators in representation theory. ▪ Geometric structures on homogeneous spaces, conformal and pseudo-Riemannian geometry. ▪ Spectral analysis of differential operators on Lie groups and manifolds. ▪ Applications of harmonic and geometric analysis in mathematical physics and number theory.

CIMPA School: Mathematical Modeling, Responses to Health and Environmental Challenges, from 08/25/2025 to 09/05/2025, Village des Langues, Mahdia, Tunisia.
Mathematicians are called upon by doctors to optimize the treatment of serious diseases or surgical procedures, by geneticists for genome sequencing, and more.
This CIMPA school aims to train master’s students and young researcher-mathematical modelers who can get involved in various sectors.
It is characterized by a strong interaction between fundamental and applied courses, which allows the combination of theoretical and practical knowledge on a concrete problem.
The courses of this CIMPA school consist of acquiring knowledge in applied mathematics, encompassing modeling, numerical techniques, and statistics; all combined with practical implementation in computing and software.
